Chapter/Capítulo 5
We don't know where we're going, but we always assume it's going to go one way or another. While we watch the clock, cross out days on the calendar and express our uncertainties with everyone, while sharing hours with the people we love most the present is never a topic of conversation ... It's always the future and how uncertain it is. We admire it, we are afraid of it and never stop thinking of it from the comfort of this present, who vanishes being the 'morning' of yesterday. Instead of enjoying the moment we think we're going to throw ourselves to the emptiness, with no one to catch us in the fall.
No sabemos a dónde vamos, pero siempre asumimos que va a ir de una manera o de otra. Mientras miramos el reloj, tachamos días en el calendario y expresamos nuestras incertidumbres a todo el mundo, mientras compartimos horas con las personas que más queremos el presente nunca es tema de conversación... Siempre es el futuro y qué incierto es. Lo admiramos, le tememos y no paramos de pensar en él desde la comodidad del presente que se desvanece siendo el 'mañana' de ayer. En vez de disfrutar el momento pensamos que vamos a lanzarnos al vacío, con nadie que nos sujete en la caída.
